Our Story

Founded in Performance Marketing

After helping build the largest independent search marketing agency in the world, before its acquisition by Publicis and then going on to create his own performance marketing agency, QueryClick, it’s safe to say our Founder, Chris Liversidge, had become an expert in the struggles digital marketers had when it came to really understanding the value in their marketing efforts.

It was because of this knowledge and experience that clients began to approach us with their attribution problems - and Corvidae AI was founded to help build a path to achieving accurate attribution.

Businesses needed help to measure the impact of digital marketing activity when they had a wider marketing mix to consider as well as bricks and mortar footfall but were struggling with off-the-shelf analytics tools, last-click measurement and unknown broken user journeys preventing them from figuring it out.

Building on Solid Foundations

Our work led to a foundational discovery, one which shocks most marketers today: pretty much all web data used in analytics and AdTech platforms is at least 80% broken due to its reliance on deterministic identifiers such as cookies.

Not to mention the fact that it was now clear to us that there were no suitable or reliable tools on the market for today’s digital marketer.

It was from this point that we vowed not to create just another attribution tool, we wanted to fix the underlying problem with attribution: rebuilding broken customer journeys as they cross devices and media.

Fast forward to today and following years of development, fine-tuning and several millions of pounds in investment, we have created Corvidae: a truly unique approach to marketing attribution.

Corvidae research and development involved working with marketing data from the UK's largest companies and developing advanced deep learning AI technologies in collaboration with the EU's largest AI research institute.

A New Approach to Marketing Analytics

With advanced stitching that goes way beyond existing analytics and data platforms, Corvidae is the only attribution solution which completely rebuilds your marketing data using AI as a foundation for stitching.

We undertook a two year research programme to develop AI methods of stitching events together based on their probability of being connected, working in collaboration with Europe's largest Data Research and Informatics department - part of Edinburgh University.

This research project had no guarantee of success, but due to our ability to work with extensive marketing datasets from the UK's largest businesses, we were able to solve for critical issues such as over-fitting and developed an initial system that could stitch to 80% accuracy with two years' worth of historic digital marketing data.

Today, innovation has continued to improve our stitching capability, and we can stitch to 98% accuracy with less than two weeks' data for our typical customer fit.

We hold global patents on the use of AI and Machine Learning to stitch session together and are the only technology offering this granular rebuilding of marketing data anywhere in the world.
